Job experience

May 2014 - current  Developer at Energiselskabet Natur-Energi A/S
Description pending.
June 2012 - April 2014  Senior Software Engineer at Nuance Communications Inc.
SafeCom A/S was acquired by Nuance Communications. See description below.
January 2010 - April 2014  Developer at SafeCom A/S
I'm part of the team that develops the SafeCom Device Server, a product that provides the SafeCom Pull Print solution on web service based Multi-Function Printers (MFPs). My job focus is mainly on the back-end part of the product, although I am familiar with various Hewlett-Packard MFPs.
I have also been heavily involved in developing the administrative user interface (written using SWT) of the SafeCom Device Server.
In addition to that I also maintain and develop the SafeCom Go embedded HyPAS solution for the Kyocera TASKalfa series of MFPs.

Technologies: Java SE, AXIS, Jersey, Servlets, Maven, OSGi, Subversion, Jenkins, Sonar, JIRA, Wireshark, JUnit

June 2009 - November 2009  Developer at NeoConsult A/S
Wrote a mobile application using lwuit and the corresponding back end servlet. I also co-designed and implemented an API that was exposed through a number of web services.

Technologies: Java SE, J2ME, lwuit, ant, Servlets, Oracle SQL

Aug 2007 - March 2009  Supporter at NeoConsult A/S
Worked as a 2nd and 3rd supporter on the NeoConsult SFR project, where I handled the non-trivial support tickets. This gave a huge technical knowledge of the system, and therefor I became the person the team turned to if they needed help.
Because of my extensive knowledge of the system my responsibilities changed so that I would investigate new errors and work up a patch proposal. Additionally I was responsible for creating workarounds for the errors until they could be fixed in production. As part of this I developed a number of tools to handle this.
Being a supporter has given me the opportunity to write many complex SQL queries, on a daily basis, against an Oracle database with several million rows.

Technologies: Java SE, Groovy, Perl, Oracle SQL, Linux

May 2007 - Aug 2007  Operations & Systems Management at NeoConsult A/S

May 2005 - Nov 2006  1st level support and systems monitoring, Cortex Consult A/S
Was tasked with systems monitoring and operational tasks outside of normal business hours and weekends for Progrator. This included some support for customers with more extensive service level agreements.

Technologies: Unix, Tivoli, Hobbit (now Xymon)
